SymbioAxis grew from a practical question: how could businesses and the organizations supporting them see more of the relationships that shape their experience? The work brings together ecosystem thinking, business support, and a belief in more informed human decisions.
THE REASON FOR THE WORK

A business may participate in training, contact a provider, encounter a disruption, and request help again. Those events can sit in separate systems even when they belong to the same broader story.
SymbioAxis is being developed to make those relationships easier to examine. The goal is to help people recognize recurring needs, understand the support already recorded, and choose a useful next step across organizations and regions.

Systems, research, and ecosystem design
Dennis is a Pennsylvania Army National Guard veteran whose service included military engineering and search and rescue, with specialized training and certifications focused on heavy structural collapse through Oklahoma City’s Response International Group (RIG). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, combining national security, intelligence, and biology. For over a decade, he has co-led First Sip Studios, working directly with businesses and government organizations ranging from townships to cities. His experience in emergency response, business development, and complex systems helps shape SymbioAxis’s approach to understanding interdependence, information flow, and the relationships that influence how business ecosystems function and evolve.

Samantha holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and spent over a decade as a family therapist helping families navigate complex social and support systems. For the past ten years, she has helped lead brand voice, communications, and business education at First Sip Studios, which has served businesses and government organizations, from townships to cities, for over a decade. At SymbioAxis, she applies this experience to translate complex ecosystem relationships and information into accessible, people-centered insights and practical guidance for businesses and partner organizations.
